  1. Pop everything except the coffee beans into the blender and give it a blitz until you're happy with the consistency. Pour into two glasses and, if you like, top with a few coffee beans to get the perfect snap for social media, then enjoy this healthy energy booster!

TIPS

I like to use cavendish bananas for this recipe but a couple of little lady fingers will work well too. Using stevia here keeps the smoothie fructose free, but if you’re fine with fructose then you can add a few dates or 1-2 tablespoons of honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar – whatever sweetener you like, really. If you like your smoothies a little runnier, just add up to 3 tablespoons of almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.
